Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information eWire Holdings LLC ("ewire," "we," "us") collects from users of ewire.ai (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices. It applies to business users in the United States.

1. What we collect

Account and contact information. Your name, business email, company name, business address, phone, and job title.

Order information. Products you configure, order history, shipping and billing addresses, and ship-to contacts.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store full card numbers; Stripe provides us a token and the last four digits, brand, and expiration. For net-30 customers, we collect credit application information (including trade references and, if you authorize it, business credit report data).

AI Feature inputs. When yse our AI Quick Order, live chat, or similar features, we collect the messages, files (including PDFs, BOMs, drawings, and images), and context you submit. These are transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses.

Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referrer, and similar log information. We use this for analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

Cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies for authentication and cart state and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See Section 7.

Sub-processors that provide services to us under written contracts requiring them to protect your data and use it only for our purposes. Current sub-processors include:

Manufacturing and fulfillment partners, including Diversified Wire & Cable (DW-C), to produce and deliver your orders.

Professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and insurers, when needed and under confidentiality.

Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety (or those of others).

Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, f sale of substantially all assets. We will require the successor to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you of material changes.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. AI Features: specific disclosures

When you use AI Features, your inputs (messages and files) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic acts as our sub-processor under its commercial terms, which provide that API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models. We retain AI Feature inputs and outputs for the periods in Section 5 for service operation, debugging, and abuse prevention.

Do not submit information to AI Features that you are not authorized to share, including confidential information of third parties such as your own customers' data center layouts, drawings marked confidential, or trade secrets of others.

Where law requires longer retention (for example, accounting records), we keep records for that period.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies required for the Site to function and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) configured with IP anonymization to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies will break core Site features.

8. Your choices and rights

9. California residents

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. 10. U.S. only

The Site is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. We do not comply with the GDPR, UK GDPR, or other non-U.S. privacy laws unless we notify you otherwise in writing.

11. Children

The Site is for business use and not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, email privacy@ewire.ai and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version on the Site and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect 30 days after posting, or immediately for changes required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
