Cookie Notice
Last updated: April 7, 2026
This notice explains how eWire.ai ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit our website. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. It helps the site remember your preferences and activity over time.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not store personally identifiable information.
| Name | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preference choices (necessary, analytics, marketing) so we don't ask again on every visit. | 365 days |
| sb-* | Authentication session cookies managed by Supabase. Used to keep you signed in and protect your account. | Session |
2. Functional Storage
We use your browser's storage (not a cookie) to hold your shopping cart. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to our servers until you proceed to checkout. Your cart is tied to your sign-in state: anonymous carts live only within the current browsing tab, while signed-in carts are stored per account and persist across sessions until you sign out. Cart contents are never shared between accounts on the same browser.
| Key | Storage | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| ewire_cart | sessionStorage | Holds a guest (signed-out) shopping cart so it persists across pages within the same tab. | Tab close |
| ewire_cart:<account-id> | localStorage | Holds your signed-in shopping cart so it is preserved across sessions on this device until you sign out. | Sign out |
3. Analytics Cookies
We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future (e.g. Google Analytics), those scripts will only load if you consent to analytics cookies via our cookie banner.
4. Marketing Cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in the future, they will only be enabled with your explicit consent.
5. Third-Party Cookies
When you complete a purchase, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies on the checkout.stripe.com domain to process your payment securely. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
6. Managing Your Preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie banner that appears at the bottom of the page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.
7. Contact Us
